Question about consequences of late payment

Hi,

I have a SIM card from work with a bundle of only 4 GB of data per months and no calls. It is used in a router in a European country (not Belgium). Because of a change in the payment system, we were non able to pay the bill for months. Meanwhile,  there is no connection or data coming in or out the router. We have other SIM card in Belgium,  with late payment,  but they work perfectly fine. What do you think it's happening?

Thank you for your help!

@Francesca Ortenzio  i think when you not pay anymore for your sim account for data your card is turn Off because you don’t pay for it.

Well, no, the SIM is active. Otherwise I would not ask the question. It’s not a pre-paid SIM, it’s a business contract and also, no, they don’t close your SIM account because you don’t pay, it’s not automatic, they will do whatever they can to get your money and fine you. The bill payment hasn’t been delayed for 3 months and I am just asking if it’ possible that the traffic data has been lowered or cut or made slower. I tried to contact Proximus in several ways but they are making it really difficult for customers to get any answer and indeed, I will change supplier as soon as I can and, sorry to say, I will never use it for myself.

@Francesca Ortenzio

FYI: Unfortunately, Proximus moderators are not available non-stop here and not outside office hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or during weekends and holidays.

Since the PX moderators might look into this further when they visit again, it is best to ensure that your → ForumProfiel  is fully completed in the meantime, so that they do not have to request additional information first, thereby avoiding extra delays.
In the “Ticket” field there, you can optionally add more relevant information regarding your question.
The private fields are only visible to Proximus employees. Click on “Save changes” at the bottom and let us know in this thread that your profile has been updated.

@Francesca Ortenzio

Please can you mention the SIM card number (starting with 2100) in the comments of your Forum profile?

Geert

To answer, I tried to contact Proximus in several ways but there is no customer service e-mail anymore, we can only call if we have an account and if the customer number is in our name. I am talking about something happening to a SIM card that I got from work, so the customer account is not mine to manage. I don’t feel comfortable sharing more information on a forum where everyone can read. I would like to explain the details in a private conversation. By the way, my question was clear and you don’t need the telephone number for that: there is a SIM card with only data, used in a router that is running in Italy. For administrative reason, the bill was not paid for 3 months. What happens, in general, in this cases? And what could have happened to my SIM card? Is it possible that data traffic is limited or blocked or cut and made slower, even if the SIM card seems to be active (I asked the admin of the account to check in the app).

By the way, I did add the telephone number and the account number in the ForumProfiel.

Thank you for the suggestion!

@Francesca Ortenzio

As far as I checked the sim card, there are no barrings visible.

Since it's about a corporate subscription, I'll refer you to the NCC helpdesk which you can reach at the number 080022200 or it's also possible to make contact with the account manager.

The account manager is willing to help me, just this is not their priority, but mine. I’ll try call. Thank you!

Hi Geert, if you are still willing to help, I added the SIM card serial number to the Forum Profiel.

Is there a procedure to get a kind of sub-account for cases like mine, when the SIM card main account is managed by a depratment of a corporate office but the SIM cards are used by other people?

Thanks a lot!
