I got a new bbox3+ modem installed but the DNS keeps giving errors.

on the workPC which is connected via cable, I intermittently keep getting the NO DNS / DNS probe no internet   messages

 

I can logon to the modem and verify the values 

but what should I enter to get this to work correctly ?

 

  • Enable                 

  • Status     

  • Provider   DynDNS/StatDNS/Custom/No-IP/DtDNS ?
  • User Name
  • Password
  • Host Name
  • Server 
  • Port 
  • Request

FYI: An example →  dyn-ip up-to-date

this is the example if I wanted to use “bnamed.net”  but I don’t know that one.

I need a working proximus bbox option.

 

DNS problems  :repeat:  → 

 

since I’m not sure if it is something I should change, or even DNS setup related, I created the new ticket as well

DynDNS is not used for decoder or for connecting a laptop to the bbox
