Hi, my name is Patricia Goossens, and I'm using my husband's log-in to make an enquiry in this forum. I'm sorry that I write in English, but I'm Scottish and not (yet) able to write or speak in Dutch. My husband has a disability and currently going through a medical treatment, which leaves him not in the best of shape, so that's why I am making this enquiry.
Since my husband has moved to Scotland, and the house he lived in remains most of the year uninhabited (we usually stay only for a couple of months in Belgium to visit friends and relatives, and organise renovation works to the house), we would like to downgrade from the current Maxi Internet+fixed phoneline to a Start Internet+fixed phoneline deal or something similar to cut expenses. We had also in 2017 for the duration of five to six months squatters in the house who made full use of our utilities, and we went through a rough ride to exit them from our house. Apart from the disorder they left behind, many of our possessions were stolen and damaged, and repairs are imminent, so we're not in the best of financial situations. The only reason we even travelled this time to Belgium was to take stock of the situation and make the place feel like our home again. Regardless, we have to cut back in my areas, including a cheaper deal for internet and fixed phoneline, as we need this type of access to sort out bank affairs, bookings, etc.
So, what I would like to know is what less expensive deals Proximus can provide for us in our current situation. And how to proceed with the change-over.
