Paying for a returned decoder

Hi,

I do not know if this is the right place to place this.
I was a customer of proximus for 6.5 years. I cancelled our subscription as we left Belgium

I was told to return the decoder an modem within 10 days.

In that time frame I returned the modems and decoder to the proximus shop in Tongeren.I asked for a receipt for the items but was told that as the items had been scanned, one wasn't needed.

I have received a bill for 149 euros claiming I did not return the modems.

I phoned the free number from abroad contact number ( I have been charged 10 euro's for the call) and was told that I have to go to Tongeren and organize a receipt for the items I returned as they cannot see anything on the computer.
As we no longer live in Belgium this is easier said than done.

I fail to understand why I have to invest time, money and effort to correct a mistake made by proximus and their employees.

What I also find ridiculous that they do not have an email address even though the website list an option to contact via email.

Please can someone from proximus contact us about this.

Best Regards

Jonathan Berman
