Ok, this is a problem that is driving us crazy.

We record some series' regularly and, apart from the random times things don't record at all, which is annoying in itself, we highlight "kijken", press ok, and instead of whatever is recorded actually playing the system deletes the recording and we go back to the previous menu.

Frustrating is a mild word to use, the problem is not restricted to specific channels or recordings, it's not restricted to recordings at specific times, this issue happens at random no matter what has been recorded. I've lost count of how many recordings have just vanished without a trace, and with Criminal Minds and Cold Case just being wiped out tonight without a single pixel being seen, and this problem randomly appearing daily, it would be nice to have a solution before I go to our local Proximus store and tell them, in some rather impolite terms using some of the finer words in the English language, precisely where they can stick the whole Tuttimus package.

Any suggestions, and especially solutions, will be gratefully received, but this has to be resolved quickly as I am not known for my high level of tolerance and my patience is now wearing VERY thin because of this.
Hello Mark,

I have added the episodes of this week of Criminal minds and Cold case. Can you replan the serial recording ?

Which other serie recording are giving you trouble?

At the moment there is a bug when you use the option "alles verwijderen" that also the planned recordings are removed.

This bug is solved in the next software update that at this moment is being tested.

Hi Robrecht

Can't give you a list because it happens at random no matter what is recorded.

Planned recordings still show, and when a programme is recorded it shows up in the list, it's when you go to "kijken", as in watch a specific programme, that whatever it is that we want to watch just disappears and you go back to the " opnames" list and the recording is gone. Sometimes, if the decoder is turned off immediately and turned back on after 10 seconds, the recording shows again but there's a 50/50 chance it will actually play. As I say, this happens at random no matter what series, zender, individual show, etc.

The decoder gets a reset regularly because of this, doesn't help. Have done a factory reset so will see if that makes a difference. We use a wired connection with a Cat6 cable so there's no wifi or plc issues to think of. As I say, frustrating is an understatement as we know there is a 50/50 chance of seeing what we want to see and, frankly, that is unacceptable.

Oh, "Alles verwijderen" is almost never used, we watch whatever and then delete each recording after watching.
Hi MadJock,

A tip the we received from our engineering, and that solve a lot of problems is to turn off the decoder behind with the switch. Then you turn off the modem (b-box) also with the switch. Wait 5 sec and then you turn on the modem. Wait a few minutes and switch on the decoder. If you still have problems, please send me a list and i will send this to our engineering. But first of all, reboot coorectly the devices.

Andy.

Like with routers and other digicorders, my reset method is power switch off, pull out power connection, wait 10-20 seconds, power in, switch on.

Has been done on more than one occasion, has made no difference
MadJock,

Send me examples if you still having problems :-)

Kr,

Andy
Will do.
