Sinds vandaag crasht de Proximus Pickx app steeds bij het openen op de Apple TV. De app al meerdere keren opnieuw geïnstalleerd, alsook de Apple TV hersteld, probleem blijft…
Ben ik de enige met dit probleem? Of is er een update gebeurd van de app?

We hebben de oorzaak gevonden. De app crasht als er in de swimlane een programma aangeraden wordt waarvoor je geen abonnement hebt en dat tegelijkertijd op dat moment live wordt uitgezonden. De configuratie wordt zo snel mogelijk aangepast.

Dat noem ik nu DIKKE CHAPEAU !!!!! Een communicatie waarmee je iets bent. Proficiat aan het IT team. Nu nog aanpassen en we kunnen eindelijk na 10 dagen terug TV zien...
Philippe-Dieter, ik denk dat veel Apple TV gebruikers zitten te wachten op de VRT-Nu app. De providers en ook DPG zien die er liever niet komen. Wou je ook meegeven dat Apple ook soms steken laat vallen ! Je vraagt je soms af waarvoor beta versies toe dienen. Maar ik moet je gelijk geven er zijn minder problemen met andere apps. Wat Proximus betreft, en het is niet gemeend bedoeld, als jullie support en dienstverlening even goed werkt als jullie marketing -machine komen jullie op de top één van de telecombedrijven in België.

Sorry voor de foutieve info die ik eerst gaf. Die optie geldt enkel voor andere Apple toestellen, niet voor Apple TV.
Er wordt volop gezocht naar een oplossing. We hebben het tot nu toe zelf nog niet kunnen reproduceren, maar zien inderdaad verschillende klanten met dit probleem. Ik heb jullie gegevens alvast doorgegeven naar de onderzoekers zodat ze nog meer info hebben.
Vindt persoonlijk dat een update van wat feedback gerechtvaardigd is gezien de talrijke frustraties, waaronder die van mezelf. Is het niet opgelost of men geraakt er niet uit, meldt dat dan. Dit gaat veel beter getolereerd worden dan wat gezichtsverlies of imagoschade en klanten in onwetendheid laten.

Onze experts hebben laten weten dat alles nu in orde zou moeten zijn.
Mocht het toch nog niet werken, dan zou je de app eens moeten verwijderen en opnieuw installeren.

Waarschijnlijk zit dat tijdslot erin omdat je anders bij wijze van spreken theoretisch gemakkelijker een onbeperkt aantal toestellen kan koppelen ? In elk geval zou het een verbetering zijn mocht er op het scherm hierover een melding staan hoe lang het duurt. Het zou ook wel handig zijn mocht je ook kunnen ontkoppelen via My Proximus. 2 tips waar iets met te doen valt en waarvan de eerste tip niet veel werk vraagt om te worden aangepast.
Martin, We kunnen er zeker nog mee lachen. Trouwens tv kijken via deze toestellen is niet aan mij besteed. Hoogstens in het buitenland op vakantie en daar moet je ook al geluk hebben met het netwerk dat je verbonden bent. Maar ik ben wel technisch geïnteresseerd. Volgens mij ligt het probleem niet zozeer in die app maar in het bijhouden van het aantal apparaten die verbonden zijn om toelating te krijgen tot hun servers. Het is gissen hé. Een oplossing zal er zeker wel komen want zo te zien wordt de druk op dit forum (lees klachten) verder opgevoerd. Fijne dag nog aan iedereen.

Ik gebruik dit ook inderdaad niet zo frequent, maar natuurlijk iemand die voor een Apple TV gekozen heeft om naar TV te kijken i.p.v. via een decoder, die is natuurlijk wel gezien voor de moeite.

momenteel werkt het ook bij mij nu, maar voor hoelang … heb de indruk dat ik het vooral s’avonds meemaak dat het crash’t.
En het feit dat Proximus niet reageert is denk ik omdat ze er nog geen oplossing voor gevonden hebben. ( beter dat ze hun tijd nemen en in orde doen, maar een beetje intern feedback was wel leuk geweest 👍 )

Zelfde probleem hier: app crasht van zodra deze opgestart is. Verwijderen en terug installeren helpt niet. Restart AppleTV helpt ook niet. Momenteel is de app totaal niet bruikbaar met AppleTV. Hopelijk wordt deze bug snel verholpen met een update…
inderdaad, de reden dat er niet veel feedback komt zal er wel iets mee te maken hebben, omdat het steeds moeten herhalen dat ze er mee bezig zijn aan de oplossing, ook niet echt een feedback is waar je iedereen kunt mee content stellen.
Minstens 8 dagen is deze problematiek al aan de hand. Ik heb 2 dagen zonder problemen kunnen gebruik maken maar zonder aanwijsbare oorzaak vandaag terug moeten vaststellen dat dit probleem nog altijd niet weg is… beschamend voor een bedrijf als Proximus en de maandelijkse bedragen die wij moeten betalen…

Kunnen/willen diegenen die wel in de app kunnen eens proberen om hun taalvoorkeuren aan te passen van ‘Alle’ naar NL of FR en laten weten of dat een verschil geeft ?
Hier ook dezelfde problemen sinds de upgrade naar versie 1.5.1.
Ik heb de indruk dat de problemen zich vooral voordoen tijdens de “spitsuren”.
Overdag vaak geen problemen; maar ‘s avonds tussen 20u en 22u bijna altijd dit probleem.
Ik had gisteren via de klantendienst een ticket laten openen; vandaag gecontacteerd met de melding dat m’n op de hoogte is van deze problemen en dat IT aan een oplossing werkt. Echter geen termijn meegekregen voor een oplossing.
Hier de voorbije dagen hetzelfde probleem. Vandaag werkt de Pick app wel als daarvoor (met dezelfde opname bug in “Mijn video’s” en het niet updaten van het programma als je swiped).
Heb er de crash logs en console even bijgehaald. De “Thread Pool Worker” gooit iedere keer alle Pickx threads eruit.
De werkende app geeft ook nog wat bijzondere errors. De UIKitCore geeft steeds een 100-tal foutmeldingen over LayoutConstraints wanneer je cold start. Daarnaast zijn er nog een aantal bestanden (waaronder een database) die niet ingeladen kunnen worden bij het opstarten.

Martin, ik ben al blij dat de App terug werkt. Het toeval wil dat ik een nieuwe helpdeskmedewerker aan de lijn had. Heb wat uitleg moeten geven en deze nieuwe werkkracht heeft me dan doorverbonden met haar verantwoordelijke. Best goed geholpen en vriendelijk ontvangen

Je kan ook TV kijken op meerdere apparaten (mobiel of PC) tegelijk via één account.
De enige beperking is dat je maar op twee apparaten tegelijk naar hetzelfde kanaal kan kijken.
De gebruiker die als eerste de stream start, heeft voorrang.
Het max aantal gelijktijdige streams is 5 voor alle kanalen.
